Light, Love, and Intelligence are the essence of pure energy. Your thoughts control the energy flow within and around you. Different energy centers within and around your body are influenced by your thinking habits. In other words, the things you concentrate on the most, – money, spirituality, relationships, and so on – affect your energy centers. These energy centers are known as your chakras and you can balance these Chakras through Reiki self attunement.

Discussed are 3 free exercises to balance your chakras through Reiki and visualization.

1. The White Light:

In your mind’s eye, see a large beam of bright, crystal – white light coming into the top of your head. Make this light as bright as you can imagine. See and feel the light penetrating the inside of the top of your head, clearing away any darkness and negative thoughts from your crown chakra. Let the light travel through your body and imagine it clearing away all darkness throughout all the chakras. At the end of this meditation, you should be able to imagine all your chakras illuminated and perfectly balanced in size.

2. Breathing Colors:

As you take a deep breath, visualize yourself breathing in the color green. As you exhale completely, see yourself breathing out the color yellow. Next, breathe in the color blue as deeply as you can, and breathe out the color orange. Then, draw in the color purple with your breath, seeing the purple entering all of your cells and your blood stream. Finally, breathe out the color red completely. Repeat this meditation process three times.

3. Glass Globes:

Visualize eight beautiful glass globes stacked on top of one another. The globes are stacked from top to bottom: Royal-Purple, Red-Violet, Deep Blue, Sky Blue, Emerald Green, Sunshine Yellow, Vivid Orange, and Ruby Red. See the globes become larger, brighter, and increasingly illuminated with light. Make them all grow in size until they are equally large. See the globes as perfectly transparent and the colors as clear, without any spots on the glass.

These 3 exercises are great for beginners who are looking to balance their chakras. Reiki self attunement can help one learn better meditation, clear and balance chakras, and heal with energy any time of day.

Reiki symbols and their meanings are sacred, and enhance the flow of life energy. These symbols open doors to higher levels of awareness, spirituality, and manifestation.

Reiki symbols are derived from the mother of all languages – Sanskrit. The Vedas, which are the oldest writings known to man, say that Sanskrit is the language of the spirit world.

Prior to Reiki self attunement, the symbols are shown to the student and prior to being attuned, and an impression takes place that connects the image shown to the metaphysical energies the symbol represents. Next, the Reiki attunement actually empowers the symbols so that they fulfill their intended purpose. This process has been created by the Divine and those who have been attuned.

During a Reiki session, it is advised to meditate on these symbols and receive guidance on how to use them directly.

Some Reiki symbols are as follows:

1. Cho Ku Rei: This symbol represents power. When this symbol is used during a Reiki treatment, energy flow is increased. This symbol is to be used during a healing session, and promotes healing in the body.

2. Sei He Ki: This symbol is known for emotional healing, clearing, and balancing. Sei He Ki works with physical and mental disease, relationship problems, fear, depression, anger, to enhance ones memory, and to clear a room from negativity.

3. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen: This symbol transmits Reiki energy and is beneficial to Reiki distance healing.

4. Dai Ko Myo: This is the master symbol. It signifies wisdom and intelligence and is the Light of Buddah. This symbol is used to heal and awaken the soul.

Although there are a lot more different kinds of Reiki Master symbols, these 4 are essential to the student prior to their Reiki self attunement. When used correctly, these symbols intensify Reiki treatments and allow the person to have a much more invigorating Reiki session, whether they are performing on themselves or on others.

If you are looking for a good spiritual meditation exercise for Reiki self attunement, you have come to the right place. Since Reiki has come to the west, we have been told that the only way to receive an attunement was from a Reiki Master. Recently, we have found that people are able to attune themselves easily, and just as effectively as being attuned by a master.

The following is a simple meditation exercise that you can try in the comfort of your own home to jump start your knowledge on Reiki self attunement and spiritual healing.

1. First, start with your feet spread out about a yard apart and your arms straight out to your side.

2. Turn your left palm up and right palm down. Begin deep breathing. The deep breathing helps to draw the purity from the air into your Solar Plexus.

3. Visualize and feel the energy entering your Solar Plexus and build up. Imagine and feel this energy distribute throughout our whole being. At the same time imagine the energy flowing into your left hand, through you, and out of your right hand. Do this for several minutes.

4. Next, inhale, hold the breath, and continue the same visualization. You should now start feeling the energy rush.

5. Continue this meditation exercise for as long as you wish and enjoy it.

For a more intense effect, this exercise can be done outdoors. By doing this outdoors, you may feel a stronger rush of energy since you will be also working with the forces of Mother Nature.

This is only a sample of many other meditation exercises that can be done for Reiki self attunement. By doing these exercises, you will be able to open your hearts more to the spiritual realm and purify your mind, body, and soul.

Level 1 is the first degree of Reiki for beginners . This level allows the beginner to take hold of the Reiki energy for life.

Reiki is based on the principle that there is a higher power we are all part of. Reiki teaches those to access this higher power through meditation techniques and then directs it in a form of energy healing.

The beginner level is the most important since the learner becomes initiated into the Reiki healing energy. The learner is then introduced to different aspects of Reiki through dialogue. When one learns Reiki through self attunement, the different aspects are usually written, thought or shown on video. This is mostly used as an instruction guide to the learner.

Learners are educated on self-treatments, treatments on others, treatments on animals, and how to heal chronic situations. Practical sessions are more beneficial than theoretical sessions since Reiki is a hands-on technique and focuses more on placing the hands on the body. However, theoretical sessions of Reiki are dynamic in that they can develop the learner into using Reiki to its fullest capacity.

Reiki has been proved to be extremely beneficial to many people all over the world. This spiritual healing technique never fails to heal people at all levels.

Over and above, Reiki self attunement at a beginner level is a good way to become familiar with Reiki and can set you on the path to improve relationships, or to aid in other personal aspects of life to make a difference to yourself and to others.

There are millions of people Today in the world that practise Reiki both on themselves and others. Those who have moved to level 3 on the Reiki scale are known as Reiki Masters and can teach the art to other people as well as practising the healing on people.

Many People I meet though ask me what is Reiki? What does it do? and where can I learn it? In this article I will seek to provide answers to these questions.

1)Reiki is an energy (pronounced “Ray Key”) that was discovered by a man called Master Mikao while on a meditation retreat in the mountains. At that time he managed to open up his crown Chakra and received a hugh amount of energy. What he discovered was a healing energy that he could use on himself and others that could be transmitted by touch. He was so exited by what he experienced that he was inspired to teach it to others. As well as healing, the Reiki energy could be transmitted from one person to another so that they could in turn become masters and heal other people. The lineage continues to Today.

2)Reiki is essentially a healing energy and success has been reported with using its energy to heal all manner of ailments. The person who receives the Reiki usually lies flat while the practitioner places their hands on their chakra points and transmits this loving energy into their body. People usually report feeling warm relaxed and tingly as well as reporting improvements with their problems.

3)People who want to learn Reiki usually go on a 2 Day course with a Reiki master who brings them through a variety of attunements so that they can transmit the energy as well as learning the hand positions and chakra points to enable them to do a treatment. The cost can vary from person to person but the minimum is usually around 300 euros where I live.

Coming together as a group to hold sacred space for manifesting and healing can be a great deal of fun – especially since its possible to do it while you are all in different places!

As the term energy work implies, we are working with energy, and according to Einstein, “energy is everything.” We can garner a great deal of perspective when seeing how “everything” is energetically connected by exploring avenues of quantum science. I recommend the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know?!” because it’s funny as well as enlightening. But I must warn you: don’t expect to walk away with fewer questions!

This is an emerging science, only beginning to uncover the truth energy workers, shamans, seers, healers and mystics have known for Ages: we are indeed, all One.

So what does this mean? How do we work with this knowing?

This is where it gets interesting. Unlike physical science, which looks outward for explanations, quantum science delves inward, into the metaphysical nature of the universe, and thus, of ourselves. It is discovering fascinating evidence of the power of the mind and its relative connections to the body and to “external” events and circumstances.

It is validating the creative power of observation, the intense effect of intent and the guiding force of will.

At the end of the day, there is no ultimate answer out there explaining just how it all fits together so well. There is however, the chance to experiment and have fun with it while enjoying the benefits of this wonderful gift: the gift of connection.

As mentioned earlier, the vibrational tools we use to work with energy and connect remotely are all already within us. Observation. Intent. Will.

Here is a ritual for connecting to a group for distance energy work, using these vibrational tools:

Set Intent

Know what it is you want by allowing yourself to focus on how it would feel to have it. The alchemical process from wanting to having is what sets intent.

You may choose to write your intention down in a first person, present tense format.

For example: I hold the intention to be in alignment with creative passion.

The key thing here is while you are writing this you feel what it feels like to have it.

Create Sacred Space

I do all my energy work, distance and in person, inside an etheric circle which I create using my intention.

Feel free to do the same and to come up with something that resonates with you.

For me, circles represent unity, connection and continuity. I feel held and supported in my circle.

Enter Sacred Space

Before entering my circle, I drink some water and go to the loo. I also wash my hands with crystal water.

Then, I cleanse my mind and my aura by saying the Reiki Principles which encourages me to leave behind all worry, fear and judgement/expectations and invite myself into the space of humility, gratitude and allowing.

I suggest writing or using a prayer or affirmation that resonates with you and your sacred space and aligning with it before entering your sacred space.

Connect to Higher Self

When inside your sacred space, consciously connect with your higher self. I place my hands in prayer position at my heart centre and breath consciously, quietening the mind and allowing myself to sense the energetic nature of my body and intending for my higher self to guide to guide me through this process.

Align with and Detach from Intent

Be with the energy of your intent and then offer it to the Highest Path and Purpose for the group. Suspend all expectations and allow yourself to absorb the feeling of having your intention received into the Whole. Allow the appreciation of this exchange to fill you up.

Allow, Allow, Allow

Now, give yourself space to gently be, allowing all thoughts and feelings safe passage as they drift by. Notice and let be.

Meditate, dance, chant, stretch, smile….. enjoy!

Anchoring and Grounding Energy

To anchor the energy into the physical realm, offer your heartfelt appreciation to the group and feel the appreciation shining forth at you.

Ground the energy by breathing consciously for a few moments, getting fully into your body.

I like to place my hands on the ground, seeing my circle shrinking inward towards my hands. I then offer it in thanks to Earth Mother.

I would love to hear about your experiences with distance energy work or answer any questions you may have. Feel free to comment below or drop me an email.

The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran (16)

This is the 16th article of the series:” The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran”.

The Bible affirms the Faith in the Son of God by saying who is overcoming the world? It is only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.  The Noble Quran says that it is an unforgivable sin when you say or believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or sons; this major sin will lead to the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter.

——————————————————————–

The Sons of the Lord God in the Bible (16)

The Bible (1 John 5:1-5) says that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? It is only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

——————————————–

1 John 5:1-5 in five different versions of the Bible:

New International Version

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

American Standard Version

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2 Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.

5 And who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

English Standard Version

1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

King James Version

1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

The Sons of the Lord God in the Quran (16)

The Noble Quran makes the topic of the sons of God very clear and says that Allah, the Almighty Creator, has neither a son nor a partner.

In addition, The Quran makes the signs that Jesus was not god very understandable.

The Quran says that Allah will say unto Jesus at the Resurrection in rebuke of his followers: ‘O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to mankind in the life of this world, “Take me and my mother as gods, besides Allah”?’

Jesus will say unto Allah: ‘Glory be to You!, exalted be You above all that does not befit You, such as having a partner and so on. It is not mine; it is unjustified for me, to say what I have no right to.

It is not befitting for the Majesty of Allah to take to Himself a son.

Allah is exalted, magnified; He is above what they associate with Him of son or partners.  Allah is far transcendent above all that they ascribe unto Him!

In Islam, this point is very important faith wise.

  1. Again, it is unforgivable sin to say or to believe that the One Almighty Creator [who is Allah or God or the Lord or Jehovah or whatever name(s) you are giving Him] has a son or Sons.

From the Islamic point of view, the conclusion of this fundamental topic that may establish or destroy the faith is that:

Any one who believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or Sons; he messes up his faith and is considered as a disbeliever and in the afterlife he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Hell.

Any one who believes that the Almighty Creator has no son or partner, he has a good faith and is considered as a believer; and in the afterlife, he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Paradise.

Verses 5:116-119 make the topic of the son(s) of God plain, clear and understandable.

——————————————–

The meanings of verses 5:116-119:

The meanings of verse 5:116

And, mention when God will say, to Jesus at the Resurrection in rebuke of his followers: ‘O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to mankind in the life of this world, “Take me and my mother as gods, besides Allah”?’

He, Jesus, says, shuddering: ‘Glory be to You!, exalted be You above all that does not befit You, such as having a partner and/or a son. It is not mine who said that, it is unjustified for me, to say what I have no right to.

You know what I have conveyed to them of commands and prohibitions.

If I indeed had said it to them, You would have known it. You know what is, hidden by me, in my self, but I do not know what is within Your Self, that is, what You keep hidden of Your knowledge.

  1. You know what is in my self, though I do not know what is in Your Self; You are the Knower of things unseen. You are the Knower things hidden from the servants; and no one can have knowledge of it besides You.

The meanings of verse 5:117

(Jesus continues) I only said to them in the life of this world only that which You commanded me, to say, and that is: “Worship Allah, declare Allah’s divine Oneness and obey Him; He is my Lord and yours.”

And I was a witness, a watcher, over them, preventing them from saying what they used to say by conveying your message whilst I dwelt among them; but when You took me, when You raised me up to the heaven, You were Yourself the Watcher over them, You were the Protector and Witness of them, the Observer of their deeds, and You Yourself are Witness over all things, Aware and knowing them, including what I said to them and what they said after me, and whatever else.

The meanings of verse 5:118

(Jesus continues) If you chastise them, that is, those among them who are fixed upon disbelief, verily they are Your slaves, and You are their Master, disposing of them as You will: there can be no objection to what You do; and if You forgive them, lo! they are Your slaves. You, only You, are the Mighty in His affair and the Wise in His actions.

The meanings of verse 5:119

  1. This is a day in which their truthfulness profited the Truthful, and their faith the believers and their conveyance the conveyors of messages and their loyalty the loyal people; for theirs are Gardens underneath which, beneath its trees and couches, rivers of water, milk, wine and honey which flow wherein they are secure and they shall abide forever; in such Paradise they dwell, never to die or be removed from it.

Allah is well-pleased with them, because of their faith, works and obedience to Him, and they are well-pleased with Him, because of His reward and the honor bestowed upon them.  That which I have mentioned of eternity and pleasure is the great triumph; the ultimate safety: they earned Paradise and were saved from the torment of hell.   The sincerity of those who were liars in this world shall not avail them on that Day, just as it shall not avail the disbelievers when they (will) believe upon seeing the chastisement.

——————————————-

Verses 5:116-119 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:

Verse 5:116

QARIB: and when Allah said: ‘( prophet) Jesus, son of Mary, did you ever say to the people: “take me and my mother for two gods, other than Allah?” ‘exaltations to you, ‘ he said, ‘how could i say that to which i have no right? if i had said that, you would have surely known. you know what is in my self, but i do not know what is in yours. indeed, you are the knowledgeable of the unseen.

SHAKIR: and when Allah will say: o isa son of marium! did you say to men, take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: glory be to thee, it did not befit me that i should say what i had no right to (say); if i had said it, thou wouldst indeed have known it; thou knowest what is in my mind, and i do not know what is in thy mind, surely thou art the great knower of the unseen things

PICKTHAL: and when Allah saith: o Jesus, son of Mary! didst thou say unto mankind: take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? he saith: be glorified! it was not mine to utter that to which i had no right. if i used to say it, then thou knewest it. thou knowest what is in my mind, and i know not what is in thy mind. lo! thou, only thou, art the knower of things hidden?

YUSUFALI: and behold! Allah will say: “o Jesus the son of marry! didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah’?” he will say: “glory to thee! never could i say what i had no right (to say). had i said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. thou knowest what is in my heart, thou i know not what is in thine. for thou knowest in full all that is hidden.

Verse 5:117

QARIB: i spoke to them of nothing except that which you ordered me, that you worship Allah, my lord and our lord. i witnessed them whilst living in their midst and ever since you took me to you, you have been the watcher over them. you are the witness of everything.

SHAKIR: i did not say to them aught save what thou didst enjoin me with: that serve Allah, my lord and your lord, and i was a witness of them so long as i was among them, but when thou didst cause me to die, thou wert the watcher over them, and thou art witness of all things

PICKTHAL: i spake unto them only that which thou commandedst me, (saying): worship Allah, my lord and your lord. i was a witness of them while i dwelt among them, and when thou tookest me thou wast the watcher over them. thou art witness over all things.

YUSUFALI: “never said i to them aught except what thou didst command me to say, to wit, ‘worship Allah, my lord and your lord’; and i was a witness over them whilst i dwelt amongst them; when thou didst take me up thou wast the watcher over them, and thou art a witness to all things.

Verse 5:118

QARIB: if you punish them (for their disbelief), they surely are your subjects; and if you forgive them, surely you are the almighty, the wise. ‘

shouldst forgive them, then surely thou art the mighty, the wise

PICKTHAL: if thou punish them, lo! they are thy slaves, and if thou forgive them (lo! they are thy slaves). lo! thou, only thou, art the mighty, the wise.

YUSUFALI: “if thou dost punish them, they are thy servant: if thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power, the wise.”

Verse 5:119

QARIB: Allah will say: ‘this is the day the truthful shall benefit by their truthfulness. they shall live for ever in gardens underneath which rivers flow. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with him. that is the great winning. ‘

SHAKIR: Allah will say: this is the day when their truth shall benefit the truthful ones; they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide in them for ever: Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Allah; this is the mighty achievement

PICKTHAL: Allah saith: this is a day in which their truthfulness profiteth the truthful, for theirs are gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they are secure for ever, Allah taking pleasure in them and they in him. that is the great triumph.

YUSUFALI: Allah will say: “this is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: that is the great salvation, (the fulfillment of all desires).

There are millions of people in the world who have been attuned to Reiki

And there are probably thousands of people who practice it as healers every day

We hear about different levels of proficiency and power as Reiki is divided up into different levels from level one , two and Masters level, and we are told that the band of reiki energy we receive and then can channel to other people increases as we learn new symbols and take in more energy.

I believe that this is so but I think we are missing out on one of the best tools to fully develop and open Up to the power of reiki .

My take on it is thus, I believe that reiki energy does flow through us from the universal love energy surrounding us and it makes its way into our clients

I believe that “flow” here is the operative word and when we are blocked in some way it will impede flow of this energy Through us and into our client

I believe that if we are blocked emotionally that the reiki energy will stay in our body mind, trying to heal us and only some of it will flow to our client

The key then to leting this energy flow through us would be to experience our emotions as they arise and breath with them as they dissapate

In so doing we free up space and create a hollowness that will naturally fill up with peace.

This peace is in my view the place where Reiki can flow through and be directed powerfully into our clients.

I wish you peace

The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran (15)

This is the 15th article of the series:” The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran”.

The Bible says that every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

The Noble Quran says that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, was only a messenger sent to his people; and it is an unforgivable sin when you say or believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or sons; this major sin will lead to the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter.

The Sons of the Lord God in the Bible (15)

The Bible says that God loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

The Bible (1 John 4:1-10) says that

The Bible says that every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

——————————————–

1 John 4:1-10 in four different versions of the Bible:

New International Version

1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

4You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

5They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.

6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

American Standard Version

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 and every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the spirit of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already.

4 Ye are of God, my little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they as of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he who is not of God heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9 Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

English Standard Version

1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

3and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

4Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

6We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

God Is Love

7Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

9In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

10In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

King James Version

1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

The Sons of the Lord God in the Quran (15)

The Noble Quran makes the topic of the sons of God very clear and says that Allah, the Almighty Creator, has neither a son nor a partner.

In addition, The Quran makes the signs that Jesus was not god very understandable.

The Jews and Christians, both of them, say: ‘we are the sons of God.

Say, to them, O Muhammad: ‘Why then does He chastise you for your sins? If what you say is true.

For, the father does not punish his son, and the loving does not punish his beloved.

He forgives whom He will, whoever repents of saying that God has son(s), and chastises whom He will

O People of the Scripture, O people of the Torah and the Gospel!

There has verily come to you Our Messenger, Muhammad, making clear to you, the laws of religion, after an interval of cessation between the messengers, for there was no messenger between him and Jesus, an interval of 569 years.

He is making things plain that with which you have been commanded and that which you have been prohibited.

Lest you should say, if you are punished: ‘There has not come to us any bearer of good tidings nor any Warner’. Indeed, there has come to you a bearer of good tidings and a Warner, and so you shall have no excuse. God has power over all things, including punishing you for not following him and His Messenger.

They are indeed disbelievers those who say, ‘God is the third of three’, gods, that is, He is one of them, the other two being Jesus and the Holy Spirit,

And they who claim this are the Christians when there is no god but the One God.

If they do not desist from what they say, when they declare a trinity, and profess His Oneness, those of them who disbelieve, that is, [those] who are fixed upon unbelief, shall suffer a painful chastisement, namely, the Eternal Fire.

The Quran decisively forbids saying that Allah has a son.

From the Islamic point of view, the conclusion of this essential topic that may establish or destroy the faith is that:

Any one who believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or Sons; he messes his faith up and is considered as a disbeliever and in the afterlife he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the hell.

Any one who believes that the Almighty Creator has no son or partner, he has a good faith and is considered as a believer; and in the afterlife, he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the paradise.

Verses 5:18-19 and verses 5:73-74 of the Noble Quran make the topic of the son(s) of God plain, clear and understandable.

The meanings of verse 5:18

The Jews and Christians, both of them, say: ‘we are the sons of God, we are the prophets of Allah that is, we are like his sons in terms of closeness and rank, and He is like a father to us in terms of compassion and care, and His beloved ones’.

It is also said that this means: we follow Allah’s religion as if we were His sons and loved ones; and it is said that this means: we are to Allah like His sons and we are followers of His religion.

Say, to them, O Muhammad: ‘Why then does He chastise you for your sins? If what you say is true.

Why then does He chastise you for your sins due to worshipping the calf for 40 days, if you are like sons to Him; have you ever seen a father torturing his sons with fire?

For, the father does not punish his son, and the loving does not punish his beloved; but He has punished you, and therefore you are saying lies. Nay; you are but mortals, created servants, from among all those mortals He created; you shall be rewarded as they are rewarded and you shall be requited as they are requited. He forgives, him for, whom He wills, forgiveness, and He chastises, him for, whom He wills’, chastisement, and there can be no objection thereto.

He forgives whom He will, whoever repents of saying that God has son(s), and chastises whom He will.

For Allah belongs the kingdom and of the heavens and of the earth and the stores that is between them of created beings and marvels, and unto Him is the journeying, returning to Him is the end result of those who believe and those who do not; to Him is the journey’s end, your final return.

The meanings of verse 5:19

In other words, so that you will not say on the Day of Judgment: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer announcing Paradise nor any Warner against hell. Now Muhammad is announcing Paradise and is a Warner against hell and he came unto you.

Allah is Able to do all things whether it is sending messengers, rewarding those who follow the messengers or punishing those who do not follow the messengers.

The meanings of verses 5:73

They are indeed disbelievers those who say, ‘God is the third of three’, gods, that is, He is one of them, the other two being Jesus and the Holy Spirit,

And they who claim this are the Christians when there is no god but the One God.

If they do not desist from what they say, when they declare a trinity, and profess His Oneness, those of them who disbelieve, that is, [those] who are fixed upon unbelief, shall suffer a painful chastisement, namely, the Eternal Fire.

In other words, the verse says: they surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the third of three, they claim that there is a father, a son and a Holy Spirit; However, there is no God for the dwellers of the heavens and the earth save the One God who has no son or partner. If they do not desist from so saying and do not repent of what they are saying, a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve the pain of which will extend to their hearts.

The meanings of verses 5:74

Will they not turn in repentance to God and seek His forgiveness? For what they say; God is Forgiving, to the one who repents, Merciful, to him.

In other words, will they not rather turn unto Allah, repent of their claims and seek forgiveness of Him by declaring His divine Oneness? For Allah is Forgiving of he who repents and believes, Allah is the Merciful towards him who dies repentant.

Verses 5:18-19 and verses 5:73-74 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:

Verse 5:18

QARIB: the Jews and the Nazarenes say: ‘we are the children of Allah and his loved ones. ‘ say: ‘why then does he punish you for your sins? surely, you are mortals amongst what he created. he forgives whom he will, and punishes whom he will. for Allah is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them. all shall return to him. ‘

SHAKIR: and the Jews and the Christians say: we are the sons of Allah and his beloved ones. say: why does he then chastise you for your faults? nay, you are mortals from among those whom he has created, he forgives whom he pleases and chastises whom he pleases; and Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and to him is the eventual coming

PICKTHAL: the Jews and Christians say: we are sons of Allah and his loved ones. say: why then doth he chastise you for your sins? nay, ye are but mortals of his creating. he forgiveth whom he will, and chastiseth whom he will. Allah’s is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and unto him is the journeying.

YUSUFALI: (both) the Jews and the Christians say: “we are sons of Allah, and his beloved.” say: “why then doth he punish you for your sins? nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: he forgiveth whom he pleaseth, and he punisheth whom he pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto him is the final goal (of all)”

Verse 5:19

QARIB: people of the book! after an interval during which there were no messengers, our messenger (Muhammad) has come to clarify (your religion) to you, lest you should say: ‘no bearer of glad tidings or a Warner has come to us. ‘ indeed, there has come to you a bearer of glad tidings and a Warner. Allah has power over all things.

SHAKIR: o followers of the book! indeed our messenger has come to you explaining to you after a cessation of the (mission of the) messengers, lest you say: there came not to us a giver of good news or a Warner, so indeed there has come to you a giver of good news and a Warner; and Allah has power over all things

PICKTHAL: o people of the scripture! now hath our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: there came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any Warner. now hath a messenger of cheer and a Warner come unto you. Allah is able to do all things.

YUSUFALI: o people of the book! now hath come unto you, making (things) clear unto you, our messenger, after the break in (the series of) our messengers, lest ye should say: “there came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no Warner (from evil)”: but now hath come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a Warner (from evil). and Allah hath power over all things.

Verse 5:73

QARIB: indeed those who say: ‘Allah is the third of the trinity’ became unbelievers. there is but one god. if they do not desist in what they say, a painful punishment will afflict those of them that disbelieve.

SHAKIR: certainly they disbelieve who say: surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one Allah, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve

PICKTHAL: they surely disbelieve who say: lo! Allah is the third of three; when there is no Allah save the one Allah. if they desist not from so saying a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve.

YUSUFALI: they do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a trinity: for there is no god except one Allah. if they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.

Verse 5:74

QARIB: will they not turn to Allah in repentance and ask his forgiveness? he is forgiving, merciful.

SHAKIR: will they not then turn to Allah and ask his forgiveness? and Allah is forgiving, merciful

PICKTHAL: will they not rather turn unto Allah and seek forgiveness of him? for Allah is forgiving, merciful.

YUSUFALI: why turn they not to Allah, and seek his forgiveness? for Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.
